Negros Earthquake

An earthquake occurred this early morning(Tuesday, July 12, 2011) at 4am while everyone was sleeping in the Philippines. It was estimated to have a magnitude of 6.4 and is said to have occurred its epicenter in Negros, Philippines.

No reports of serious injuries and casualties have been established and it is expected to go in a couple of hours from now. I do hope that nothing serious really happened near the epicenter of the earthquake.

Right here in Cebu, Philippines, there hasn't been that great feeling of the earthquake other than those employees who are working night shifts. And it is safe to say that nobody was hurt during the incident here in Cebu.

Land Trembled

MANILA, Philippines -- A 3.8 magnitude earthquake hit Baguio City early this morning(Feb. 02, 2010), a radio report said today.

According to a science specialist of the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs), the weak tremor happened around 5:20 a.m., with the center traced in San Manuel, Pangasinan, northeast of Dagupan City.

The quake, which was tectonic in origin, was also felt in Clark in Pampanga, the report added.

The Phivolcs, however, said it recorded no aftershocks or significant damaged caused by the quake.

Lately, lots of earthquake are happening and the most devastating one was in Haiti. It recorded a 7+ magnitude and killed many people during the incident, some of which are foreigners including Filipinos. There was also report about the breaking of grounds in San Francisco.

I don't know how the movie 2012 and todays happening intertwined together.

What could this mean to us?
